Hello followers and friends, it has been awhile! So much has been going on in life, for all of us I am sure, and I have been absolutely terrible about keeping up with posting here on the website. I’m making it a personal challenge to post weekly from now on, which will go out on Wednesdays via the newsletter.

Roleplaying Games
In roleplaying game publication news, my latest offering for the Scarred Lands setting is now available over on the Slarecian Vault, Onyx Path’s community content area on DriveThruRPG. Vigil Watch: Dromyas is my tie-in to the official Yugman’s Guide to Ghelspad, Part 5, which introduces the minotaur race to the Scarred Lands setting for 5E D&D. Dromyas and the minotaurs are new additions to the campaign setting, and I wanted to make sure players and Dungeon Masters had a bunch of new lore and options for them. Vigil Watch: Dromyas delves into the history of the bastion-city, built high in the Albadian mountains of Ghelspad, introducing NPCs, adventure hooks, options for player characters, and new creatures for the DM. Several weeks ago on Twitter and Facebook, I announced a couple of other projects. Those who have been following a long and waiting may have noticed they have not arrived yet. Scarred Lands: Colder than Ice is an adventure designed for 1-on-1 play, with a DM guiding the story for a single player, though it does have the option to run it for a group of players as well. When announced, it was a teaser for another announcement that Onyx Path was getting ready to make, but then go put on hold. Since then, they have let it be known that the Slarecian Vault will be opening up for the community to create content for the Fenrilik setting, a frozen wasteland in northern Scarn, part of the Scarred Lands setting, and the Frostlands of Fenrilik campaign guide will be releasing soon. Due to the delay, Colder than Ice is also on hold because it cannot be published until Fenrilik is opened up for community content, but rest assure, that day is coming soon! Yay!
The other project I mentioned was Icewind Dale: Encounters in Ten-Towns, an adventure collection tie-in for Rime of the Frost Maiden, the latest hardcover adventure published by Wizards of the Coast. Unfortunately, Encounters in Ten-Towns ran into the “too much going on” wall, and while I am still working on it, it hasn’t been my priority. I do hope to see it up on the DM’s Guild in the near future, however!

Actual Play and Other Streams
Things are slowly picking up over on the Twitch channel! We went from a single actual play D&D stream early this year to two streams and a lore chat, with plans for more content soon.
The Curiosity Cache
The crew of the Curiosity Cache are still at it on Fridays at 4:30pm Eastern! Set in the city of Shelzar, this Scarred Lands D&D 5E actual play follows the workers of the Curiosity Cache, a quaint little shop that sells relics and rarities, as they try to keep the business going after their boss disappears. Best intentions aside, life never goes quite how they plan, however, and they’ve had to rescue one of their own after Friede was kidnapped, faced off against a giant pink dinosaur, delved into the realm of dreams to save a halfling orphan, and are now deep under the city of Shelzar searching for the sword of a famed gladiator of yesteryear. Something is always going on at the Cache, so join us on Twitch on Fridays to watch the show live, or catch up on the whole season on YouTube!
Academia: Chronicles of Porta Temporea
The latest addition to the actual play offerings on Twitch and YouTube, Academia is a Final Fantasy XIV-inspired D&D 5E actual play hosted by Chaz Callendar. Porta Temporea is a school for those who wish to become warriors and mages, defenders of the city against the multitude of threats that inhabit the world. The newest students have a lot to learn, however, and not everything is as it appears at the university! Halloween Actual Play
This Halloween, I will be hosting the first actual play of my own D&D campaign setting, Asunder! We hope you will join us as we bring to you an adventure set on the Isle of K’thon, a place often avoided by the rest of the world, its people viewed as xenophobic and violent. The truth, of course, is always more complicated, and the players will be stepping into the roles of the K’thoni, who aren’t quite what the world thinks they are. Full of undead fun, we’ll be playing on October 31st at 3:00pm Eastern on Twitch!

Stargate SG-1 RPG
Recently, I had the honor of writing an adventure for the Stargate SG-1 RPG’s living campaign. What is a living campaign, you might ask? It is a series of adventures that is played by gamers around the world, and the future of events in the game are guided by the outcome of the majority of experiences. Gate Masters are asked to report the outcomes of their games, which will affect how future modules are written. It’s all very exciting! Though the living campaign started during GenCon Online this year, the Stargate book is NOW on Kickstarter! Published by Wyvern Gaming, I hope that you will stop by and pledge to their fundraising campaign by pre-ordering your own PDF or hardcover copy of the book! I’ve been a huge fan of Stargate throughout the franchise’s history, and am so excited to see this new iteration of the RPG coming through the Chappa’ai!

This is now the third monster manual they have produced for D&D 5E, and I’ve had the pleasure and honor to appear in each of them as a freelance critter creator! Stuff full of amazing monsters, NPCs, and FUN for your group, it’s a must-have book for any DM or player who enjoys monster manuals.
