If you play D&D, or grew up watching movies from the 80s, and you haven’t watched Stranger Things yet…go now, and make it happen.  We’ll wait.

So, an exercise that I like to do is converting monsters from movies, TV, art, books, comics, and even real life creatures into RPG stats.  It gets my creative juices flowing, and it’s fun to do.  With that in mind, I’ve been planning for awhile to start up this regular blog series, “The Wanderer’s Creature Feature”, where I will post these conversions for use in your game!

What a better creature to start with than the Demogorgon from Stranger Things?  Of course, it’s not the actual Demogorgon from D&D…but it’s still pretty awesome and fun.  Plus, the appearance and influence of D&D in the show is both nostalgic and entertaining.

To separate the concept of Demogorgon from The Monster in the show, I dubbed the stats with “Petalhead”.  If you don’t know why, you need to go ACTUALLY watch the show, cheater.
